The U.S. Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) offers free cybersecurity assessments designed to help drinking water and wastewater utilities strengthen their cyber defenses through the EPA Water Sector Cybersecurity Evaluation Program. Utilities that participate in the program receive an assessment report and a risk mitigation plan template to understand identified cybersecurity vulnerabilities and receive guidance on enhancing their overall cybersecurity posture. The webinar will include the following topics: • An overview of the assessment program including time commitment, logistics, and assessment methodology • Tips on how to prepare for the assessment • Benefits of conducting a cybersecurity assessment • Real-world insights from utilities that have completed the program, including how it helped improve their cyber resilience and lessons learned At the conclusion of the webinar, utilities will have the opportunity to sign up for a cybersecurity assessment and take the first step toward improving their cyber resilience. Registrants will receive an email with a unique link to join the webinar from Horsley Witten Group's (EPA Contractor) Zoom account (HW Group).
