During 2025 countries are required to deliver their third-round Nationally Determined Contributions (NDCs 3.0), articulating commitments for meeting their share of the Paris Agreement goals to limit global warming. GCHA has analysed the NDCs 3.0 submitted in the run-up to the 2025 deadline, (including Botswana, Brazil, Panama, Switzerland, US, UAE) to ascertain how they have integrated health considerations. During this briefing, we will present an analysis of these first NDCs 3.0, with a view to pointing the way for countries still developing their NDCs to integrate health and ensure their populations and economies benefit.
