Theatre is an ensemble art form, meaning it can only be created by a team of artists working together. Actors, costume designers, set builders, and board operators all do their part to produce a single play. Similarly, successful OST programs require strong teams where each member contributes and feels valued.
Strong teams don’t happen by magic, any more than a stage play creates itself. The good news is that anyone can learn the skills and put them into practice to build a highly functioning team. This Live Experiential Webinar will teach both the techniques for Administrators and Site Coordinators to fully engage the whole team, and the research behind each one.
Come prepared to play and learn takeaway games for both in-person and remote settings. This webinar is best viewed on a laptop or desktop computer. Chromebooks and mobile devices are less recommended because of the limitations of the Zoom platform. Some exercises encourage whole body movement and/or noise, so an environment with room to move and vocalize is ideal for participants. This series is presented by the Indiana Afterschool Network.
