Sunday night classes continue through July on the theme of Yama.
The five yama are described in chapter 2 of the Yoga Sutras and together form the first of the "eight limbs of yoga". They offer guidance about how to relate to others and are:
- not stealing
- not grasping
We will explore the yama through accessible asana and restorative practice. If you have any specific concerns about your ability to participate please contact me before the class.
Typically the class will include some movement from standing or seated, followed by supported postures, relaxation and a meditative practice.
