>>> April 22nd: Earth Day -- Got Green is kicking off our Emergency Justice series on Earth Day. During this call, we will share about our long-haul work of fighting for environmental justice, our Emergency Justice platform in response to COVID-19, and we will take action together!
>>> April 29th: Cancel Rent -- In the midst of unprecedented unemployment and income insecurity, over 1/3 of people in the U.S. couldn't pay their rent. This session will focus on housing justice and the visionary demand to cancel rent and mortgages. We will also take action! Guest speakers include: Violet Lavatai (Tenants Union of WA) and Davin Cardenas (Right to the City Alliance).
>>> May 6th: Decarceration -- Incarceration is a public health atrocity. From hunger strikes at NW Detention Center to a prisoner revolt in Monroe, people locked up are fighting for justice. This session we will learn about the visionary call to decarcerate and we will take action. Guest speakers include: Maru Mora-Villapando (La Resistencia), Will Jimerson (Black Prisoners Caucus), and JM Wong (COVID-19 Mutual Aid Network).
>>> May 13th: Post Pandemic -- The pandemic is one of many crises – with a looming recession and an escalation of climate impacts. This final session will look at what we need post-pandemic. Addressing topics like tax justice, a green new deal, and just transition. Guest speakers include: Nikkita Oliver (Seattle People's Party), Edgar Franks (Familias Unidas Por La Justicia), and Matt Remle (Mazaska Talks).
