The Colorado Yale Association invites you to treat yourself to a bit of quiet and simply being during this season of reemergence.
This experiential session will allow Yalies to experience restorative yoga, a practice that focuses on slow, deep stretching and inner connection with the mind, body, and heart. Any body may participate as the practice is incredibly gentle, as any posture can be modified, and as research is now showing that simply lying still and doing the practice in one's mind is just as beneficial as physically practicing yoga. Following yoga, for those who'd like to share, we'll hold space as a community (aka, Q&A).
Props: yoga mat, blocks, bolster, blankets. Or any pillows or blankets you have around. The more the better. Bodies will be very gently held and supported by these props.
