Process-oriented Dialectic Behavior Therapy group based on Marsha Linehan's DBT workbook of handouts & worksheets curriculum, covering the key areas of: Mindfulness, Emotional Regulation, Interpersonal Effectiveness, and Distress Tolerance.
The session structure will be:
Check in - share any crises/updates and review skill practice between sessions
Process - opportunity to obtain/provide support and feedback from group members (practicing interpersonal skills)
Psychoeducation - introduction of new skill (using role play between facilitators and volunteers from group)
Practice - depending on skill participants will practice in small groups, 1-1 with a facilitator, or as a group
Check out - questions/feedback on new skill and commitment to practice new skill between sessions
*This group requires a commitment to attend ALL sessions held during the month.
**Group fee is $100
***Screenings are held on a rolling basis and new participants may join the first Tuesday of each month.
