In this participative session, we’ll demonstrate the power of a highly effective, but not so well-known technique called ‘Generative Decision-Making’
‘The Facilitator’ (Tim) will invite ‘The Proposer’ (who could be you!) to make a proposal to the group. The Facilitator will then lead participants through a series of rounds, before inviting the group to signal ‘approval’.
Once we understand how the process works, we’ll have some time to discuss where this could be applied in our own organisations. I hope you’ll come away with:
• An understanding of the Generative Decision-Making Process
• Some curiosity for what other simple techniques exist to make work better
• A willingness to try Generative Decision-Making at work
• A willingness to challenge the culture and practices of your organisation
