MSMR LAB CHAT WINTER SERIES ... Recruitment, Retention & Employee Engagement; The trifecta of employee relations!

Current times, demand for alternative ways of thinking! In this MSMR Lab Chat we will talk about each recruitment and retention separately, and the importance of employee engagement to solicit the right people, motivate their best performance and retain them for years of investment.

Cliff Gibbons, Assistant Director of Employee Services for Massachusetts General Hospital Center (MGH) for Comparative Medicine. Will talk about transparency in employee relations. Cliff will break-down methods used in the recruitment process to determine soft-skill qualities; passion, perseverance and innovation that make for a strong employee. Cliff will also discuss retention; money is not everything, and what employees really need, but they don’t say!

Ivonne Chand O’Neal, PhD, Chief Research Officer, MUSE Research LLC. Will talk about Employee Engagement and what was learned from analysis of lab animal employee research data! Ivonne’s collaborations at MGH have been instrumental at uncovering what drives individuals, where they are lacking motivation and how to inspire best performance actions through a Diverse, Equitable and Inclusive (DE&I) workplace.
