Preventing sexual harassment in the workplace
This 1-hour workshop, delivered by Working Women’s Centre SA, is tailored for the community legal sector to equip staff, managers and board members with the tools to address workplace sexual harassment. The content shines a light on the current climate with the broader legal sector and how working rights are breached when harassment and bystander apathy occur. Participants will learn practical strategies to prevent sexual harassment and how to create a positive workplace culture, free from inappropriate behaviours.

Participants can expect to achieve the following outcomes:
• ability to define Sexual Harassment;
• knowledge of the 4 gendered drivers of violence;
• overview of vicarious trauma;
• understanding of bystander awareness; and
• confidence in applying a framework for best practice.

This webinar is closed to member Centres and Centre board members only.

The Working Women’s Centre workplace training program is an evidenced based, comprehensive approach to understanding issues in the workplace for women and other vulnerable workers. Training programs are delivered by a masters qualified education and training specialist with expertise in workplace relations and the prevention of gendered violence.
