Beam and CELI's “Startups Stories” webinar series highlights the vibrance of the clean energy landscape in the U.S. focusing on places that are helping to foster and launch the cleantech innovations that we need to transition to a clean energy economy. The first webinar, on November 18th at 1 pm CT, will focus on Pittsburgh, in partnership with Carnegie Mellon University's Scott Institute of Energy Innovation.
Hear from the following cleantech changemakers: Paul Ohodnicki (E '06, '08) of CorePower Magnetics, Jesse Thornburg (E, '18) CEO of GridFruit, and Dylan Lew (E '21) CEO of Ecotone Renewables.
We'll have candid conversations with the changemakers who developed their innovations with CMU's support to learn about their visions, challenges, and the places where support is still needed. We'll also learn about how CMU's Scott Institute has supported innovation in Pittsburgh's robust clean energy ecosystem.
The webinar will run from 1:00-2:00pm CT, and have an additional 30 minutes of small group discussion and networking.
