About Eilidh Lewis, M.Sc., P. Geo.
Eilidh Lewis joined PGO as the Assistant Registrar in the spring of 2019. She was appointed to the Role of Acting Registrar in 2022. Eilidh graduated with her B.Sc. (Hons) in Earth Sciences in 2006 from the University of Glasgow. She then moved to Canada to study for her M.Sc. at Laurentian University in Sudbury. During her M.Sc. program she worked on various exploration and mapping projects, including work as a senior assistant for the Ontario Geological Survey. She began a career in mining in 2010 by working for KGHM International in Sudbury, at an underground copper nickel deposit. There she worked in various roles including core logging, drilling, mapping and exploration. In 2014 she began work at Wallbridge Mining Company and was the production geologist at their open pit Copper PGE deposit, Broken Hammer. Eilidh also worked as Professor of Structural Geology at Cambrian College in Sudbury during 2017 and 2018.
