Since Allegheny County Economic Development approached us about potentially selling the Frank B. Clack Health Campus earlier this year, Lawrenceville Corporation and Lawrenceville United have been engaging the community in a planning process to help shape its future.
Now, after engaging over 200 community members in a series of virtual and in-person activities and measuring feedback against survey results and steering committee input, we are ready to share the draft Community Development Guidelines.
You are invited to this open and public community meeting to learn more about the process to date, review the process findings, and contribute your feedback. This will be the final opportunity for community feedback on the guidelines before they are finalized.
Background on the site: The Clack Campus is 6.5 acres of rolling hills and historic buildings in a prime Lawrenceville location. It is separated from Arsenal Park by nothing more than a fence, extending from here to Penn Avenue and from 39th Street to 40th Street. It is the largest remaining development opportunity owned by a public entity.
