In the Tibetan Buddhist tradition, Green Tara is regarded as the embodiment of enlightened wisdom energy. The name “Tara” means “the liberator mother” and she represents both nurturance and protection from danger and illness.
From Wednesday, March 9 through Wednesday, June 15 (Sakadawa), the monks will perform a Green Tara puja, weekly on Wednesday evenings, to benefit people worldwide during this time of uncertainty. You are invited to join us.
This program is sponsored by a long-time supporter and friend of the monastery for all to share.
