Connect the Dots: Embracing Unique Strengths (Dot 4)- Virtual Training
Description: Connect the Dots is a joint collaboration between multiple early education and mental health professionals across Kentucky to include Division of Child Care, Head Start, and Early Childhood Mental Health Specialists. The collaboration was built to address the need for a concise yet high impact skills-based training for early education professionals on how to address challenging behaviors through learning the basics of social and emotional best practices. During this workshop teachers will learn about the fourth dot: Embrace unique strengths through nurturing individual differences and natural temperament. Connect the Dots will reduce frustrating and challenging behaviors but more importantly begin the development of strong social and emotional skills critical for success in school and in life!
Objectives:
• Participants will identify how unique temperaments and personality strengths have a critical impact on behavior and relationships.
• Participants will learn how to utilize their individual strengths in maintaining a positive social-emotional climate.

The fee for these workshops has been funded by a generous grant from the Horizon Community Funds of Northern Kentucky from Coronavirus Relief Fund.
