Girls Write Now mentor and author Megan Reid, along with her literary agent Wendi Gu, share the magic of writing for elementary school kids as an adult, and the process of transforming research into writing kids will care about! Learn about the importance of style, understanding your audience, and working with an illustrator to turn your words into imagery. Plus, get insider tips on how to break into publishing and pave the way for a new generation of writers.

Our Friday Night Salons are a space for our community to learn from and write with incredible authors, poets, journalists and novelists. This event is free and open to the public because of generous supporters like you who power Girls Write Now’s cutting-edge programs.
