Creative Careers in STEM, Emerging Media Pathways 
85% of the jobs that will exist in 2030 haven't even been invented yet. According to HuffPost Business, “the pace of change will be so rapid that people will learn 'in the moment' using new  technologies such as augmented reality and virtual reality. The ability to gain new knowledge will be  more valuable than the knowledge itself.” In order to prepare students for STEM careers related to  the creative media industry (i.e.. marketing, media, AR/VR production, and esports) instructors and  students need to know the opportunities that exist and next steps after high school. In addition to  career exposure, the session will identify skills the technical and critical (soft) skills needed to  succeed in these emerging pathways. We will also introduce an activity youth leaders can implement  for social-emotional learning in a creative way.
