CSA Virtual Session: Current Controversies in Surgery and the Wisdom of Our Elders

The CSA Young Surgeons Committee presents a complimentary virtual session titled "Current Controversies in Surgery and the Wisdom of Our Elders"

Got the COVID Blues? Take a break and come enjoy a cocktail and active discussion on hot topics in surgery. This virtual session is an exciting opportunity to get to discuss important surgical topics with past CSA presidents and your peers in a small group setting, to look beyond COVID and into the future of surgery. Topics include surgical education, telemedicine, robotics, and more. It's time to break through the COVID bubble into the virtual space. Join us for what is sure to be a lively and interactive virtual session!

Participants will give an initial opinion on a controversial topic in surgery using the polling function on Zoom. Breakout sessions with group discussion will then occur with former presidents of CSA. After discussion, the breakout groups will present their opinion to the entire group and a new poll performed to see if opinions change after discussion.
