MULTIFAITH NETWORK FOR CLIMATE JUSTICE - MARCH MEETING

MNCJ Welcomes Rep. Debra Lekanoff & Senator Liz Lovelett - We’ve heard a great deal recently about the HEAL (Healthy Environment for All) Act and the WA STRONG Act and their importance to the environment and to affected, marginalized communities.  What does this really mean?  What conditions prompted the creation of these two pieces of legislation and how will they address the conditions that have made them necessary?  Rep. Debra Lekanoff and Senator Liz Lovelett (40 th District) will address these and other questions around the complex and, sometimes controversial, issues of environmental justice in the State of Washington.
