Mindfulness is linked to increased emotional regulation, decreased reactivity, improved focus, and equanimity. Through the practice of Mindfulness we can more skillfully work with difficult emotions, tame monkey-mind, and cultivate positive emotions.
Teachings offered include guided meditations using the “three pillars of mindfulness”: Focused Attention/ Concentration practices; Open Awareness/Clarity practices; and Kind Intention/Positive Emotions practices. Classes suitable for beginner and experienced practitioners in a safe, supportive, and encouraging community. Drop-ins are free. Registration is required.
