The next Philadelphia Food Policy Advisory Council (FPAC) general meeting with be held on Wednesday, June 10 from 3-5pm. At our last general meeting in April, we shared our COVID-19 response efforts and discussed strategies for rooting our efforts in racial and economic justice. If our city was to approach the next phase of COVID-19 and long term food resiliency planning with the goal of uprooting racism and creating a more just food system—where all people have the power to access, own and control our food, land and labor—what would we need to know? This month's meeting is focused on learning from cities across the globe and from ourselves and identifying how we will learn together moving forward. Please bring your wisdom and questions and join us next Wednesday, June 10 from 3 - 5pm.
We will be using a visual presentation throughout the conversation. If you can use the zoom app/web platform on your smartphone/laptop to view the presentation, please do. You do not need to have/turn on your webcam to participate fully in this virtual gathering.
