You’re invited to join our Saturday, Oct. 10 (4:00-5:15pm Central Time) Zoom program— “The Climate Crisis: The Solutions Are in Reach.”
Metropolitan Water Reclamation District Commissioner Debra Shore will host the event and participate in the Q & A following a presentation by The Climate Reality Project’s Jane Goldenberg.
Jane will present the facts on the climate crisis as well as actions that we can all take to preserve a livable planet for generations to come. She has worked as a journalist, teacher, and communications consultant and recently served five years as Trustee in the north suburban Village of Northfield. Last summer, Jane was trained by former Vice President Al Gore’s Climate Reality Project as a community presenter. She is currently communications chair for The Climate Reality Project: Chicago Chapter.
This Evanston Dems’ Climate Action Team event will be one of the thousands of conversations worldwide facilitated by the Climate Reality Project during a 24-hour period on Oct. 10-11.
