Obesity Research to Policy: Lessons from Dr Bart Van der Schueren

This online event takes place on Monday 20 March 2023 at 5-6pm CET.

This event features Dr Bart Van der Schueren, Chairman of the Belgian Association for the Study of Obesity, who will be discussing how to translate obesity research into effective policy and practice. During the webinar, you will have the opportunity to ask Dr Van der Schueren questions and engage in further discussion on this important topic. EASO ECN board members will host the event and be ready to answer any questions you may have about the ECN.

• Currently registered in an undergraduate or post-graduate course of study related to obesity or have received a masters, PhD or other relevant postgraduate degree within the past five years, or an MD within the past eight years, and/or:
• Currently hold (or are applying to hold) an entry level position — e.g., junior doctor, post-doctoral fellow, lecturer, instructor, assistant professor, public health manager or public policy coordinator at an established academic/research institution, NGO or public health institution /authority
