Biochar Business and Carbon Credits with Jeff Braisher and Co.

Join the Innovatree Carbon Group (ICG) team led by East Kootenay rancher and entrepreneur Jeff Braisher for a one-hour webinar in the business of biochar and carbon credits.

Besides running a multi-generation cattle ranch that sprawls over thousands of acres south of Golden, BC, Jeff's CV is full of startups and board memberships in research and development at the interface of forestry, ranching, and environmental restoration.

The ICG team helps clients use environmental technologies to store atmospheric carbon and restore habitats in ways that produce revenue. The webinar will focus on their work turning wood into biochar, and biochar into more productive soils, and how this gets monetized in dollars-per-tonne.

The alchemy is facilitated by experts including Dr. Sue Satyro and Dr. Garrett Whitworth. Sue is a chemist and Environmental Professional with expertise in biocarbon, carbon dioxide removal, and "voluntary carbon markets" (turning carbon into cash) with a focus on startups. Garrett is a chemist with expertise in soils, carbon sequestration, and environmental analysis in both agriculture and forestry.

After presentations by Jeff and Sue, Garrett will also be on hand to answer your questions about biochar, soils, and carbon credits.
