The ACT-A Facilitation Council has commissioned an independent evaluation of ACT-A to identify lessons learnt for future pandemic preparedness and response mechanisms. The terms of reference for the evaluation can be found here.
The evaluation is to be overseen by a reference group made up of the two ACT-A Facilitation Council co-chairs (South Africa and Norway), as well as 6 additional countries and 4 representatives of civil society and communities.
The civil society and community representatives on the reference group are:
Amanda Banda (ACT-A NGO Representative (Health Systems & Response Connector))
Harjyot Khosa (ACT-A Community Representative (Diagnostics Pillar))
Onesmus Mlewa Kalama (Eastern Africa National Networks of AIDS Service Organisations (EANNASO), Pandemic Action Network (PAN) Representative)
Courtenay Howe (Coordinator, Platform for ACT-A Civil Society and Community Representatives)
Please join us on Tuesday (19 July) for a webinar to discuss the independent evaluation, key priorities and how civil society and communities can participate in the process.
