Amazing Artifacts: Bloomer Girl Costumes
The Museum has a unique collection of two reform suits owned by Anne Bartlett Taylor, a Quaker from New York. More commonly known by their nickname, the Bloomer Costume, this outfit sought to give women during the suffrage era a less restive clothing option.

Caitlin Sharpe, CSPM Registrar, will share an up-close view of these fascinating artifacts and challenge the audience to consider the power of clothing. Questions are welcome!
