Red Line Art Works - Global Arts Facing Up To Multiple Global Emergencies
We invite you to join this meeting on Zoom on Thursday 22 April 2021 from 7pm (BST) to 8.30pm.

This meeting is for Artists and other invited people from the cultural sphere. We will share ideas about the role of the arts as we face multiple global emergencies and the need for big global changes.

There will be a presentation by Kate Pellegrini (Australia/UK) of her work around climate change and related issues. Kate is an Australian visual artist based in London, and has been drawing and painting for over 30 years.

Huda Salha (Palestine/Canada) was the 2019 Winner of the Red Line Art Works Series Award. Huda is a Palestinian-Canadian artist and a descendant of a dispossessed Palestinian family. She will present her work which is informed by childhood memories, family anecdotes and historical and geographical references. It reflects larger issues about an entire nation sharing the same oppression and traumas across generations. Her works explore the historical, cultural and psychological sense of self, place and experience.

We hope you can join us for this Meeting on Thursday 22 April 2021 from 7pm (BST) to 8.30pm. We look forward to seeing you then.
