The Sephardic Leadership Institute is pleased to invite you to the second session of a professional development program aimed at building strong Sephardi leaders, institutions, and communal partnerships. Through carefully analyzed data, based on over 200 Sephardi community leaders' expressed needs and interests, we have curated an exclusive offering of leadership development training sessions to arm you with the tools necessary to develop thriving organizations, lasting alliances with your fellow Sephardi and Mizrahi communal leaders, and to create the solid foundation needed to uplift and empower diverse Sephardi and Mizrah leaders and communities.
Our second learning session will be with Dr. Mijal Bitton, Scholar in Residence at the Shalom Hartman Institute. Mijal will help us build foundational language and knowledge around diversity, equity and inclusion (DEI) and Sephardic and Mizrahi Jewish Americans. This session will help us untangle some ideas and language about how Sephardic Jews are defined and represented and what we can do as leaders to ensure our communities and culture are represented within our institutions and the larger community.
