A Conversation on Faith, Film and the Asian American Experience
With the rise of racial hostility and anti-Asian violence, what can we do as filmmakers and people of faith to foster healing and hope and peace?

Join us for a conversation on May 3rd @ 7pm PT with filmmakers and ministry leaders as we discuss our role as Biblical peacemakers. Leading our discussion will be Christina Lee Storm, film producer and executive at Netflix, and Larissa Lam and Baldwin Chiu, filmmakers of the new documentary, Far East Deep South, airing on World Channel (PBS) on May 4th. We’ll discuss the importance of authentically capturing faith on film, reflecting the diverse body of Christ on screen and how the power of storytelling can bring about racial reconciliation. More panelists to be announced.

Their emotional, life-changing journey leads to miraculous revelations and a crash course on the surprising history of Chinese immigrants in the segregated South.
