ASMP NY is working to build a foundation of racial justice in our association and our industry, and we are pleased to present Maurice Lacey and Stoop Nilsson, two fantastic individuals with decades of experience in Social Policy, Culture, and Undoing Racism. They will facilitate a powerful and insightful conversation about the times that we're living through, and what we can do as individuals, photographers, producers & teammates to make a difference in our community.
We will be exploring topics of race, and answer questions you may have about what's going on right now, how we identify racism in the photo world, and what does it mean to be anti-racist? What is undoing racism, and how do we do it?
We invite both our members and non-members to join us in this critical discussion during our next ASMPNY monthly membership meeting.
Come with your questions.
Come with your ideas.
We are committed to creating a bold and courageous space for everyone to be engaged and fully expressed in this conversation.
