Simple movements and yoga postures are practiced to invite a state of peace and stability, leading to the ideal energetic state for meditation. Beginners are welcome.

You will need a yoga mat, and a cushion or rolled up towel/blanket to use as a prop to sit on for meditation. If your hamstrings and/or lower back are tight or if you are new to yoga, it is a good idea to have a strap (or belt, or necktie, etc.), and a yoga block (or a stack of books, a can of paint, etc.) for support.
