On Saturday, April 10 from 7:30 to 8:30 PM, the David M. Hunt Library will present an online artist's talk with the creators of the civic art exhibition and book, Small Town Big Talk, a loving and moving photographic portrait of Falls Village, the second smallest town in Connecticut. Garth Kobal, chair of the Hunt Library ArtWall, will lead a conversation about how the exhibition evolved with photographer Rebecca Bloomfield, educator Adam Sher, and Hunt Library assistant director Meg Sher. A presentation of images from the project will be featured and questions will be answered. To register for this presentation, visit HuntLibrary.org, or call the Library at 860-824-7424.
Intended to foster connections and understanding in the community, the exhibition and accompanying hardcover book were made possible with a grant from Bridging Divides, Healing Communities--a fund of Berkshire Taconic Community Foundation. Small Town Big Talk is on display at the Library through May 28 and can be seen online at HuntLibrary.org/Art-Wall. A portion of all proceeds benefit David M. Hunt Library.
