This course covers the strategies and health impact categories of the Fitwel Certification System for new building construction. How do we make buildings healthier and move beyond simply “less bad” in the built environment construction projects? In this 1-hour course, Joe Gohn, National Sales Director, will review the Fitwel Certification System developed by the GSA and CDC and administered by the Center for Active Design. Fitwel is organized around specific incremental changes that will foster a healthier workplace. In the built environment today, this rating system can be applied to Multi-Tenant, Single-Tenant, or Commercial spaces. Lighting and Lighting Controls play a key role in any Fitwel project.

2. Raising the Bar-Driving factors behind improving the indoor and outdoor environment.
3. Defining Fitwel Strategies – Examine the (12) core strategies for designing healthier workspaces.
4. Defining the Scorecard system and Lighting and Lighting Control Strategies for compliance.
