HCBA February 2023 General Meeting

Lots to cover on this next meeting.  We have two speakers.  Our first speaker is David Juliano, Senior Agriculture Inspector for California.  He will be discussing a number of topics including BeeWhere hive registration and information about the new vaccine for American Foul Brood (AFB).  This is an exciting time where queen bees might become immune to AFB infections.  Now all they need is a kryptonite for varroa destructor.   

Our second speaker is Christine House, Former HCBA Board member and certified Ca Master Beekeeper (Ca Master Beekeeping Program), talking about creating a bee friendly garden.  Join us and learn how to start a bee friendly garden or expand your current garden for maximum flowering diversity.
