Bethany Jorgensen, a PhD candidate in the Civic Ecology Lab at Cornell University will join us to share her knowledge on marine plastic and how impacted communities can take action against plastic pollution. She has a deep understanding of the impacts of plastics beyond the biophysical, exploring human experiences with and responses to plastic pollution.

With help from Bethany, the Climate Action Now team has prepared dozens of actions that app users can take to combat plastic pollution, and after a half-hour or so of Q&A with Bethany, we'll roll up our sleeves and start taking action on our phones as a group.

So, get the app installed on your phone and get ready to take action at the party!
