Generosity Coaching: Raising a New Generation of Givers
Join us for an interactive session featuring nationally-recognized family philanthropy expert Susan Crites Price, author of Generous Genes: Raising Caring Kids in a Digital Age, as she shares practical advice and insights on becoming a “generosity coach” who can inspire the children in your life to become passionate, engaged givers.

Hutchison class of '21 graduate Caroline Halliday and the Hutchison Philanthropic Literacy Board faculty advisor, Laura Rangarajan, will share perspectives on growing up charitably and how early volunteer experiences help influence young givers.

Susan Crites Price is a Washington, DC-based writer who has authored or co-authored seven books. She has been interviewed on The Oprah Winfrey Show, NBC’s Today, CBS’s The Early Show, and numerous other television and radio broadcasts and by many newspapers and magazines. A nationally-recognized expert on family philanthropy, Susan was vice president of the National Center for Family Philanthropy from 2007 to 2011, and prior to that was the managing director of the Family Foundation Services Department at the Council on Foundations.
