This November 30th we have Paula Buege, a CPS and CPPS trainer, of the RISE Wisconsin, facilitating a conversation and exploration of "Supporting Parenting CPS & CPPS Employees."
This is the first of a Pandemic Impacts Series for WIPSEI Communities of Practice. Parents face unique stresses and challenges in today's workplaces. They also possess unique strengths and bring valuable insights to our work in peer support as part of supporting the next generation. Come discuss how we can better support CPS & CPPS employees who are parents in the context of lessons learned from the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic.
About this Event:
Our Supervisors of CPS & CPPS Community of Practice is a gathering for peer supervisors of Certified Peer Specialists and Certified Parent Peer Specialists to learn and grow together.
This Community of Practice is for people who can say both of the following:
1. I have worked as a Certified Peer Specialist, Certified Parent Peer Specialist, or in a similar peer role and have my own relevant lived experience.
2. I also supervise other Certified Peer Specialists or Certified Parent Peer Specialists in Wisconsin or am looking to develop supervisory/organizational leadership skills.
If the above is true for you, please join us as we seek to learn and grow together how to improve professional peer support and parent peer support services in Wisconsin!
CEHs: Attendance at this Community of Practice gathering and completion of a post-gathering evaluation (sent to the email you register with) will earn you 1.5 hours of continuing education good for recertification purposes in Wisconsin.
