There has been much online conversation about the circular economy as a solution to many of the challenges faced as a result of the coronavirus pandemic such as our reliance on global supply chains and the poor design of products. In this webinar, we will be joined by Marc de Wit, Director of Insights at Circle Economy to share his insights and reflections from Circle Economy's research into the COVID-19 pandemic.

About Marc

As Director of Insights at Circle Economy, Marc de Wit plays an instrumental role in driving the development, implementation and evaluation of the Circle Economy’s impact strategy. He manages all activities pertaining to measuring the effectiveness and impact across all programs and projects. He is responsible for mobilizing and engaging stakeholders in sustained collaborative relationships to maximise Circle Economy’s impact and to accomplish shared goals. Marc de Wit is a recognized thought-leader on implementation of the circular economy. He brings nearly 15 years of strategy and implementation experience in advising companies and governments in developing circular strategies and implementing circular solutions. Marc brings a conceptual and pragmatic focussed approach to projects, having obtained a PhD in sustainable resource use from Utrecht University and industry experience with a variety of players ranging from front-running corporates to start-ups from the operational to C-level. He is a frequent keynote speaker at conferences on the topic of the circular economy.
