Culture Coffee Break - What is it like to be Basque in Argentina?
Grab a hot coffee or favorite beverage and tune in to ask your questions and learn more about what it means to be Basque in South America. Kylie Bermensolo, the Basque Museum's Education Specialist, will be joined by several of her colleagues from the 2019 Gaztemundu program. Tomas Vicente (Centro Vasco Euzko Alkartasuna in Macachin, Argentina), Inés Olazábal (Centro Vasco Gure Etxea in Tandil, Argentina), and Alfonsina Leranoz (Euskaltzaleak Beunos Aires) will be joining from Argentina and the Basque Country to discuss the differences and similarities between Basque Clubs and Culture in the United States and South America. This is sure to be a fun, relaxed conversation, and you are guaranteed to learn something new about the Basque Diaspora!
