Welcome to the Local Leaders for Socially Connected Communities network. This network aims to advance action that results in more socially connected and equitable communities. These sessions offer space for local government and community leaders to explore community-level strategies that reduce social isolation and strengthen social ties, especially for who are those most marginalized. Sessions are structured for active peer-to-peer engagement (not one-way information sharing). Participants share ideas and stories with each other, contemplate challenges, and keep each other inspired to equitable address the root causes of social isolation.
You are registering for a Peer Networking session. These sessions will always be co-created by participants and require active engagement to be most meaningful. Please be prepared to share an ask/offer and provide input on topics you’re interested in discussing to improve your experience.
Large-group discussions during these sessions may be recorded and shared publicly.
