Community Health Workers Network Meeting
Please join us for a Community Health Worker Network meeting to discuss the new National Cultural Brokers Project. We hope to share details about the project, hear your input, and share ways for you to get involved!

The National Cultural Brokers Project, funded for three-years by Immigration, Refugees and Citizenship Canada, seeks to find a common voice for Cultural Brokers. In order to do so, we plan to co-develop and co-implement the following activities in partnership with Cultural Brokers:

• Incorporate an organization that Seeks to Unify and Support Cultural Brokers
• Conduct a National Environmental Scan and Case Study Research Project on Cultural Brokers
• Develop a Digital Learning Network
• Develop and Deliver Training for Cultural Brokers
• Explore Professional Recognition for Cultural Brokers
• Host Regional and National Gatherings

We wish for anyone, working in any sector, such as Community Health Workers, Settlement Workers, Cross-Cultural Workers, who are doing the essence of cultural brokering, to join us in the movement to raise our collective voice towards creating a more equitable society for Cultural Brokers and the newcomers, immigrants, and refugees they serve.

The National Cultural Brokers Project is hosted by the CHWN, along side Manitoba Possible, Laurentian University, Multicultural Health Brokers Co-op, and the Umbrella Multicultural Health Co-op.
