Recovering & Building Resiliency
As our communities continue to navigate the COVID-19 pandemic, it is extremely important that we continue to work together to leverage, coordinate, and distribute available food and other resources to make sure our communities stay safe, healthy, and informed.
Please save the date and join us for our upcoming virtual convening on June 3, 2020, where we will be:
-Reflecting on the Covid-19 impacts and changes; how our food system has been put under the spotlight.
-Reviewing different examples of food response action in Broward County and assessing what is working and the areas that might need improvements.
-Discussing efforts and possibilities for Food Emergency Response Coordination and Support.
-Considering ways to help build and sustain community and regional resilience through food access policy and systems changes.
-Identifying ways in which Food for All Broward can continue to support local and regional efforts to improve and strengthen Broward County’s food system and increase food access for all.
The meeting will be held from 3:00 p.m. - 5:00 p.m. via Zoom platform. Register below to receive updates and to add to your calendar.
