Powder River's 49th Annual Meeting, Reimagining Wyoming: Buffalo, Transformation & Sustainability, will be online this year. We are thrilled to feature Jason Baldes, Tribal Buffalo Program Manager for the National Wildlife Federation, on Friday, Nov. 5th at 5:30 pm. Jason's presentation is free and open to the public. Indigenous people have a long relationship with buffalo that includes practical land management and economics, as well as a cultural and spiritual understanding of humans' place in the web of life. Jason's talk will help us imagine how buffalo can be part of a sustainable transformation for Wyoming.
The Business Meeting, Powder River members only, will be Saturday, Nov. 6th at 9:30 am. This is our opportunity to set policy for our work and review the accomplishments from the past year.
Both events will be held on Zoom, and one registration takes care of both events.
