Libraries of Things all over the world offer an opportunity for people to borrow useful items, such as tools, gardening equipment, household appliances and much more, at a low cost.
With many models and ways of operating, such initiatives can offer a real opportunity to support communities to thrive whilst being kinder to the planet.
If you’re interested in setting up a similar project or are already in the middle of it, and would like to chat with someone who’s been through the ‘ins and outs’ of this journey, join Mirella Ferraz, the coordinator of the Share Shed – A Library of Things in Devon, in the UK, for an informal chat.
This is not a workshop as such. Rather, it’s an opportunity to clarify questions, share information, and bounce ideas with each other.
The Share Shed is a project of the Network of Wellbeing, a charity working to support a UK network of people and organisations who care about the wellbeing of people and planet.
This is a free event being co-hosted by the Share Shed, the Network of Wellbeing and Community Action Groups (CAG) Devon.
