Description: COVID-19 has increased the need for Community Health Workers (CHWs) to adopt regular self-care practices and routines. CHW Solutions has developed a new CHW self-care curriculum as part of its work with the National Resource Center for Refugees Immigrants and Migrants (NRC-RIM). The curriculum covers the importance of self-care, accessing cultural strengths, exercises, tools and resources. CHWs and CHW supervisors piloted the curriculum in August 2021, and their feedback was used to make final revisions. Pilot results, curriculum components, and tips for getting started will be shared at the webinar. The curriculum will be made available for free at the NRC-RIM website: https://nrcrim.org/self-care-community-health-workers.
Purpose: Introduce new Community Health Worker (CHW) self-care curriculum and let people know how to access and use it.
