Bend, Don't Break!
This series will focus on basic tenets of yoga practice with exploration of the common asanas (poses), breath work, and meditation. Participants can expect a grounding warm-up, engagement in alignment-based asanas, and a cool-down that includes restoration and centering. Classes will be modified to include all levels of participants.

Due to the virtual format of this series, no strenuous of extreme postures will be taught. Participants should also exercise self-awareness of their own physical capabilities and understand that yoga practice invites individuals to adapt the class in anyway necessary to accommodate their needs. This includes taking restorative postures at any moment throughout the class.

Disclaimer: If you have significant health issues that may interfere with your engagement in the course, you should consult an appropriate healthcare provider before participating. The instructor is a certified yoga instructor and will be available to answer basic questions, but will not be offering healthcare advice or evaluation.
