Intention and Format
The intention of the weekly gatherings is to practice mindfulness together, to share experience of our practice, mindful communication through right speech and listening, and to investigate skillful means for using mindfulness-based strategies and techniques for managing the challenges of life, that result in a mindful approach of responding vs reacting to situations.

We begin with a check-in which might be an internal PAUSE or arriving practice or the chat to establish our own individual baseline, which can then be used to see if there has been a shift. We then engage in a series of practices – mindful movement, a reflective practice, group sharing on the experience of the practices, which may include another check-in to see if there has been a shift in awareness from the practices, and a closing poem.
