[PharmaLedger] Shifting the Paradigm for Patient Recruitment - Needs, Options and Challenges for Trial Matching Solutions

Especially severely sick patients are searching for suitable clinical trials and clinical trial investigators have difficulties to find suitable patients. Patient recruitment remains the time-limiting factor in clinical trials. Matchmaking solutions exist but none of them was able to serve both partners’ needs in a comprehensive way. The IMI-PharmaLedger project introduces blockchain technology for reliable and trustful handling of sensitive data in areas like clinical trials, supply chain and health data.

We need your opinion on the pre-requisites for a matchmaking solution that really enables a major improvement of the patient recruitment process. We need your judgement on the potential and suitability of PharmaLedger’s trial matchmaking concept to make the difference.
