Black Boardroom Leadership Institute: 2023 Leadership Informational

The Black Boardroom Leadership Institute (BBLI) is a transformational program to help grow a talent pipeline of Black leaders and drive change on nonprofit boards in the Orlando region. BBLI’s program consists of two training tracks. The first, for current nonprofit executive leadership focused on culture change, inclusion, and board diversification. The second, focuses on authentic leadership, board governance and future board placement for Black community leaders. Participants will gain foundational knowledge in board governance and opportunities to discover motivators and cultural qualities that empower them.

With only 11 percent of local boards represented by Black leaders, BBLI was created through honest conversation and idea generation of committed community leaders to address the significant diversity gap amongst Orlando’s nonprofit board of directors.

We will begin accepting applications from leaders interested in participating in the 2023 Leadership Track on April 14.

November 16 – Graduation
