Social Emotional Learning and Intro to Simple Interactions
Social and emotional learning is built upon a foundation of relationships and can be supported through our everyday interactions with children and youth - in person or online. In this workshop, we will discuss the power of interactions as the active ingredient in youth-serving settings. We will also reflect on strategies to support social and emotional learning such as planning opportunities during program activities and catching spontaneous teachable moments as they occur.
